Mary Alice Moore
of Tampa, FL passed away Friday, November 15, 2013. Homegoing services
will be conducted Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm at The Center
for Manifestation, 3102 East Lake Avenue, with Apostle Mark Jones,
pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories
Mary was born in Stillmore, GA on July 26, 1943. She attended schools in
Hillsborough County. She retired from Honeywell/Group Technologies where
she worked as an Inspection Group Leader. She also was a Union Steward.
She received numerous awards and recognition throughout her career,
including being named Inspector of the Year in 1984 by the local chapter
of the American Society for Quality Control.
Mary loved and cherished her relationship with the LORD and enjoyed
spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita Washington;
brother, James Washington, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 5 children, Latesea Moore, Tonya
Starling, Angelo Moore, Earl Moore III and wife Cherrie, and Apoleon
Moore, Sr. and wife Alicia; 16 grandchildren, Martinique, Miquel, Madio,
Maurico, Martina, Monique, Darrell II, Ashlee, Justin, Jasmine, Earlesia,
Earl IV, Camry, Apoleon Jr., Nicholas, and Adrian; 9 great
grandchildren, Marquis, Markuez, Madio II, Micah, Tijai, Trevon, Jayla,
Jayele, and Madison; 2 sisters, Synolia Thompson and Betty Mann; special
friend, Gloria George; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other
relatives, and friends.
There will be a closed casket visitation from 5-8 p.m. Friday, November
22, 2013, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 North Howard Avenue.
