MR. CHARLIE EVERHART, JR.

Mr. Charlie Everhart, Jr., 2336 North Highland Avenue, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 2204 North Highland Avenue, with Elder Mark McCaffie officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Born on July 27, 1935 in Arcadia, Florida, Mr. Charlie Everhart, Jr. was the son of the late Charlie Everhart, Sr. and Mary L. Williams-Lambrick.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Williams-Lambrick; father, Charlie Everhart, Sr.; brothers-in-law, Homer James Hemmingway, Richard Dean Gadis, Rufus “Toby” Gadis; sisters-in-law, Betty Jones, Yolanda Gadis; and nephew, Alfonso Roberts.
He leaves to cherish his memory:  devoted and loving wife Elaine; daughter, Tanya; sister, Ann Hemmingway; nephew, Frederick Everhart (Gloria); nieces, Patricia Morrison (Albert), Rona Roberts-Pryer (Vernon), Donna Monroe, Shantel Hemmingway-Lawton; sisters-in-law, Tommie Lee Anderson, Emma Dean Brown, Cassandra Grandville (William); brothers-in-law, Rudolph Gadis, Delano Gadis, Sr. and Reche Gadis (Carol Gene); aunt, Nellie Smith; and a host of relatives, to mention a few, Carolyn Thompson (Alfred), Nancy Williams, Sara Holley (John), Gail and Diane Carey, Nathaniel Edwards (Julie) of Tampa, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.
