Abe Chin, Jr.

Mr. Abe Chin, Jr., AKA “Alvin,” of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at New Life Tabernacle, 6912 Williams Road, Seffner, Florida 33584, with Pastor Rashidi Collins, officiating. MASKS RECOMMENDED. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610.

Abe was born and raised in Tampa to loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chin.  He attended Hillsborough High School. He enjoyed welding, which was a family trade with his dad. He worked at Coreslab Structures, Inc. for eight years as a Welder. 

He was a very hardworking man that provided for his family. Moreover, Abe was a very devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and​ friend who would give you the shirt off his back. He will be remembered for the priceless times he spent with his daughters making sure they were happy, and the unconditional love he had for everyone whose lives he touched. 

Alvin, your ​journey on earth was short, but your loving memories will forever be in our hearts. Gone too soon from us. He will be dearly missed.

Abe Chin, Jr. leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife, Janet Chin; six beautiful daughters, loving parents, brothers. sisters, and numerous loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33606. MASKS RECOMMENDED.
