Ada P. Gray, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, Pastor Darnell Peeler, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Sister Ada accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and joined St. John AME Church.
Ada was born on June 28, 1951, to Stella Mae Gray and Willie Ray in Quincy, Florida. After graduating from Carter Paramore in 1970, she worked at Singleton Seafood and Sheraton Hotels in Tampa, Florida.
She is survived by: her children, Carlton Tyrone Jones and his wife Theresa Jones, and Catillia King and her husband Charles King; eight grandchildren, Carlton (Ty) Jones Jr., Tynesha Jones, Tyree Jones, Reginald Jones, Carlton (CJ) Jones, J’kobe Jones, Charles King II, and Corey King; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Delh Duncan and husband Luther Duncan; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who loved her dearly.
The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.
