Alvin Mabrey

Mr. Alvin Clarence Mabrey, Jr. passed away Monday, June 20, 2022. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, FL 33606 with James Ransom, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Alvin Jr. was born January 1, 1977, to Joy and Alvin Mabrey Sr. in Bradenton, FL.  He spent his early childhood in Tampa, FL but moved to Clearwater, FL as an adult. He attended Hillsborough Public Schools and worked in Security and Hospitality until his health began to fail. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted mother, Joy Denise Mabrey; father, Alvin Mabrey Sr.; second mother, Sandra Thomas; four daughters, Alyna Joy, Alaya Rose, Karleigh Annmarie and Alyvia Kristen; three sisters, Lakeysha Mabrey, Maria Mabrey and Bianca Mabrey-Word ; grandmother, Mary Rogers Brewer; aunts, Kassidy Brewer, and Keela Brewer; uncle, Rogers Macon (Leila); loving cousins, Kristin Joy Washington, Gloria Gladney, and Michele Clark-Crockett; caring and faithful friends, Ashley “Honey” Thomas, and Curtis Greaves; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
