Mrs. Annie Pearl Gyden Miller of Temple Terrace, FL passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Bro. Benjamin Daniels, officiating and Bro. Eddie Harper, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
Mrs. Annie Pearl Gyden Miller was born to the union of the late Jeff and Annie Gyden in Pinehurst, Georgia. She married the love of her life the late James C. Miller Sr. on February 11, 1951. To this union six children were born. They lived in Tampa for over 50 years.
She was baptized into the Church of Christ at a young age and became a member of the Henderson Ave. Church of Christ which later became the Highland Ave. Church of Christ. Due to health issues, she moved her membership to Southside Church of Christ, Palm River to be closer to her home and was a faithful member until her health began to fail.
During her life, Annie was a homemaker, domestic housekeeper, childcare provider, and hostess to anybody that stopped by her house to which she always had a beautiful smile. She will truly be missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her loving husband of 43 years, James C. Miller, Sr.; two sons, Tyrone and James C. Miller, Jr.; a son-in-law, James L. Green Sr.; and a grand-daughter, Anitra Miller Mathis.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Frances Miller, Patricia Green, Wanda (William) Daniels, and Sandra (Sam Sr.) Bush; grandchildren, Ta-Tanisha (Donald Sr.) Jorden, Reginald Mathis Sr., Letesha (Glenn) Williams, Lashundranette Sanders, Tareika Giles, Raushauna (Marlon) Maxwell, Jada Green, William E. Daniels Jr., Ronnie Giles Jr., Jamie Jackson, James Green II, Marcus Giles, Ashley Miller, Dominique and Arielle Daniels; 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; God-daughter, Gloria Jean Henry; and God-son, Sidney Lloyd. The remains will repose from 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Ray Williams Funeral Home. We are asking family and friends to please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
