Antionette Harris Obituary

Ms. Antionette D. Harris of Valrico, Florida passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021.  Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating.  Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required. 

Ms. Antionette D. Harris was a native of Henderson, North Carolina and a resident of Valrico for 17 years.  She was born to Nancy Jean Harris and Clinton Robert Harris, Sr. and attended Davis Chapel Baptist Church in her younger years.  She was educated in the Vance County Public School System where she was a member of the Junior Beta Club and graduated from Vance Senior High School in 1981. She earned an Associate Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Vance-Granville Community College in 1984.

Antionette was employed by Maidenform for many years before becoming employed with RGIS Inventories where she worked for 18 years until her illness and untimely passing. 

Antionette was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.  She loved her sports teams the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Volunteers Women’s Basketball Team faithfully.  Antionette also loved photography and always had her camera out snapping a picture of something or someone. She loved just hopping in her car and taking a day trip to new places. Her family was everything to her. She will be forever missed by everyone who knew her and the lives she touched in her fifty-seven years with us. 

Antionette was preceded in death by: her father, Clinton Robert Harris, Sr. 

She leaves to cherish loving memories: her mother, Nancy Jean Harris; sister, Kelly Ellis (Zachary); brother, Clinton Robert Harris, Jr. (Toshiba); aunt, Barbara Harris; uncle, James Harris; three nieces, Sa’kia R. M. Ellis, Karmyn Harris and Kayari Harris; nephew, Jamari K. B. Ellis; cousins, Jacqueline Williams (James), Marcus Johnson, Antuan Johnson (Veronica), Jasper Johnson (Evelyn), Latoya Hawkins, Curtis Harris, Lewis Harris, Kamal Harris, Steven Harris, America Harris, Akeisha Harris, Larry Harris, Lemeka Harris, Sophia Jefferson, Latosha Bullock, Eugene Williams, John Ricks, and Tony Watts along with a host of other cousins, family and friends of the Harris and Steed families. 

We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.
