Barbara Barton

Ms. Barbara Barton of Tampa, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. A viewing only will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED).

Ms. Barton was a native of Florida and a resident of Tampa for 68 years. She attended Middleton High School, and was member of Mt. Vernon Primitive Baptist Church. She was employed as a Pediatric Nurse Assistant at Tampa General Hospital.

Ms. Barton was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Taylor; father, E. Mansfield Taylor; sister, Lou Ethel Sealy; brothers, Morris Duke and Benjamin Sims; and nephew, Daniel Smith.

Ms. Barton leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Nathan Perry; sisters, Yvonne Reed, Rosa Garvin, Carrie Dukes, Jackie Dukes and Betty Wells; brother, Cleve Sims; three grandchildren, Nolan, Jadalyse and Skyla; devoted niece and nephew, Rosa Smith and Rudy Fletcher; and a host of great-great-great nieces and nephews.
