Mrs. Beatrice Thomas Keaton of Tampa, FL passed away on Saturday October 10, 2020. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday October 24th, at 2 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Douglas Walker, officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mrs. Keaton was a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 94 years. She attended Middleton High School, was a lifelong member of Tyer Temple United Methodist Church. She worked at several jobs in her life with Tampa International Airport being her last before retiring.
She was preceded in death by: her Mother and Father; her nine siblings; and her Daughters, Frieda Keaton and Brenda Keaton Hardaway.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Daughter, Sharon Keaton McKennon; Grandsons, Zedric (Emilia) McKennon of Moyock, North Carolina, Kedric McKennon, Zabrien Hardaway Sr., and Antwan (Shereeka) Hardaway; Great Grandchildren, Kwishia Hardaway, Zabrien Hardaway Jr., Zae’Quan Hardaway, Brianna Hardaway, Sharon N. McKennon, Aaron Hardaway, Jasmine McKennon and Zamaria Hardaway; Great-great Granddaughter, Railyn Gallon; Nieces, Inez Patterson and Janice Thomas Miller and a host of Great Nieces and Nephews; Close family friend and Outstanding Caregiver, Kenyetta Black; Close friends, Mrs. Evelyn J. McCloud, Ms. Laverne Barron and Mrs. Judith Rosenkranz; and a host of Tyer Temple UMC church family.
The visitation will be held, Friday, October 23, from 3 – 7 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33607. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
