Betty Davis

Ms. Betty M. Davis of Tampa, Florida passed away Monday, April 5, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.  Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.

Ms. Betty M. Davis was a native of Bradenton, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 60 years.  She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and furthered her education with Gibbs Junior College, St. Petersburg, FL. 

Ms. Davis was a member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens.  She was employed as an Administrative Support with Suncoast Center for Community Health, St. Petersburg, FL.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Boris A. Davis, Sr. of Tampa, FL, and Francis S. Davis Jr. and wife Erica; God-daughter, Nicole Gye’Nyame and husband Jahi of Wake Forest, NC; grandchildren, Boris Davis Jr. and wife LaShelle, Francis “Trey” Davis III, Chantel M. Foster and husband Troy, Gabrielle A. Rayls and husband Tyler, Jolie D. Ballantyne, Glory Davis and Camry Woodard; great grandchildren, Iyana Davis, Mariah Foster and Noah Rayls; longtime family friends, Mildred Harrell and Deborah Howard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING.  We are asking family and friends to please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
