A Graveside service for Mrs. Betty Fields of Tampa, FL who passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, will be held on Saturday, February 13th, 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 with Reverend Tim Lancaster, officiating. Interment will follow.

Mrs. Betty Fields was a native of Groveland, Florida born to the union of Wilbur, Sr., and Annie Dantzler. Betty was educated in the Hillsborough County School System and graduated from Middleton High School. She later retired from the Leon County school system as a Data Processor. Betty will always be remembered for her zest for life and love of traveling, playing online games and playing the slot machines at the casino. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Wilbur Dantzler, Sr. and Annie McCray; aunts, Julia McCray, Minnie Lee Pittman, Stozella Kilpatrick and Johnnie Mae Burnett; uncles, Verdell McCray, Peter Kilpatrick and James Dantzler and granddaughter, Audrey Dantzlerward.
She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories with: her devoted and loving son, Byron Ward and Walter Dantzlerward (Tami); grandchildren, Shalay and Jaden Ward, Alexandria, Christopher (Cynthia), Kathryn, Nick, Claire, Tori and Zachary Dantzlerward; great grandchildren, Chase and Cash Jones; sisters, Gloria Elaine Williams (John) and Aletha Ervin; brother, Wilbur Dantzler (Nancy); uncle, Clifford Dantzler; nieces, Loretha Freeman (Gerard), Cassandra Green (Damon), Sabrina Ervin and Neenia Dantzler; nephews, John Williams, Jr. (Kimberly), Michael Williams (Crystal) and Mark Dantzler (Rhonda); 8 great nieces; 6 great nephews; neighbors, Ethel Hayes and Denise Bradford; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Ray Williams Funeral Home on Friday, February 12th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday for the service and Masks are required. Arrangements entrusted to RAY WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, Rhodes & Northern, Owners.
