Mrs. Betty Jean Marley of Valrico, Florida passed away Friday, March 13, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating.
Mrs. Betty Jean Marley was a native of Dunellon, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 48 years. She was a graduate of Bethune-Cookman College and retired from the School District of Hillsborough County as a Teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Edwards and Alice Mosley Edwards.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Dan Marley; daughter, Alexis Marley; son, Jared Marley; brother, David Edwards; sisters, Sonya Edwards Sapp and Quilla Bowens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
