Mrs. Billie Lucille Thomas Watts of Tampa passed away Tuesday January 5, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church 5706 N 40th Street with Minister Erica Harrington officiating. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
Mrs. Billie Lucille Thomas Watts was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina but resided in Tampa, FL since birth. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Leto High School, Class of 1975. Billie was a housewife and Caretaker. Billie was a woman of God and had a heart of gold, she was a loving and caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to all. She loved her family, friends, and kids dearly.
She was preceded in death by: her loving parents, the late Juanita Spain Thomas and Billy Thomas; grandparents, Horace Sr. and Anna Spain; aunt, Maxine Shannon; uncles, Calvin, Robert and Horace Spain Jr.; and beloved cousin, Donna Cannon.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Devoted and Loving Husband, Louis Watts; two devoted sons, Robert Thomas (Vivian), and Eugene Thomas (Tequilla); sister, Joanne Thomas; brother, Eugene Thomas; uncle, Billy Spain (Rita) of Auburn Hills, MI; aunts, Sharon Lancaster and Bea Spain; grandchildren, Eugene Jr., Cedriona, Jacquez, Sincere, Malik, Coneathia, Raynesha and Rashard; great grandchildren, Samaria, Wesley, Wendell and Dhari; special loving nieces, Jackie Wimbush (Lee) and Demetra Shellman; great nieces, D’vonntai, Raven and Briana; great nephews, Kentwan, Jorice and Demetrius; special nephew, Cash; cousins, Kenneth Spain (Remishia), Keith Spain and Darrell Shannon (Lena); step daughter, Tonette Lynch; extended family, the Baileys and Billups families; special friends, Phyllis, Betty and Shelia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends including her Oakhurst and Westside Family.
The visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Friday, January 15 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
