Candi Whitlock

Miss Candi Denise Whitlock of Tampa passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bible Based Fellowship Church, 4811 Ehrlich Road, with Reverend Anthony C. White, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.  Please follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.  

Candi was a native of Tampa, Florida born to Lazette Davis and Larry Whitlock and was a resident of Tampa for 37 years.  In her youth, she accepted Christ and was member of Bible Based Fellowship Church of Carrollwood where she served in the Nursery Ministry throughout her teen years. She attended Jefferson High School and was a graduate of the Class of 2002 and later attended Hillsborough Community College.   She held several positions in sales and upon her demise was enrolled in University of Phoenix pursuing a degree in Medical Records. 

She was preceded in death by:  her grandparents, Lamar and Renee Davis, Annie M. Thompson, and Coleman Whitlock; great grandparents, Leroy and Bertha Green, and Mary and Will Davis; great uncles, Leroy Green Jr., and Freddie Jones. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Lazette Willingham; stepfather, Jeffrey Willingham; father, Larry Whitlock; auntie-mom, Michelle Green Dennard; brother-cousin, Nathan Dennard; sister-aunt, Charlotte Pinder (Damien); uncle, Lamar Davis Jr. (Renee); aunts, Angela Lewis (Dennis), Pamela Davis, Carol Davis, Jeanne Drummond, Sandra Thompson, and Gloria Whitlock; great aunts, Thelma Hamilton, Miarita Webb, Anita Green and Shirley Jones; great uncles, Leonard Green Sr., Ronald Green Sr. (Helen), and Anthony Green (Jackie); cousins, Ronshai, Christina, Renee (Emmanuel), Fredricka, Cassandra, Cecilia, Sonja, Charmaine, Sade, Jeanne, Yolanda, Charlene, Charniece, Jayla, Lamar III, Charles, Daryl, Kevin, Willie, Jonathan, Michael, Adam, Frederick, Joseph, Jeffrey, Ricky, Damien Jr., Caleb, Kenneth (Gladys), Kareem (Jessica), Leroy, Leonard Jr. (Sonia), Aaron, Rodney, Terrence, Ronald Jr., Leroy III, Joseph, Leonard G., Samuel Leroy (Kanisha), Edward, Tony (Yvette), Edward, Steven, Jimmy, Deondre, Ella, Coquilla, Courtney, Stephanie, Charvette, Ebony, Monique, and Kenyetta; she doted on the little ones, Avery, T-Hop, and Kay J.; there are many other branches of the family she touched including: the Pease, Hamilton, Jones, Barrett, Randolph, Clyde, families as well as our Georgia connections, Hamptons, McCall and Mileys who carry her memory in their hearts.  

The visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, December 31, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.
