Catherine Johnson

A Homegoing Celebration for Catherine Johnson of Valrico, Florida who transitioned on Thursday, June 10, 2021 will be conducted on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Pastor Curtis A. Swafford, officiating. Masks are required.  The service will be live streamed and the link will be available on Ms. Johnson's obituary page 15 minutes prior to the start of the service at www.raywilliamsfuneralhome.com. 

Catherine Johnson, 84, was a native of Mizpah, New Jersey and a resident of Valrico for the last 20 years. She was a member of Rivers of Life Church Ministries in Brandon, Florida where she was an active member with the Seniors Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sula Mae Free and Mack Smith; Daughter, Debra “DJ” Johnson; Sister, Mary Alice Kitchen and Aunt, Henrietta Fantroy.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her Daughter, Maria Singfield (Michael); Sons, Keith Johnson (Shurron), Kenneth Johnson and Kevin Johnson; Grandchildren, Ashley, Keith Jr., Kenny, Geordan, Dominique, Gabrielle, Kennisha, Kendra, Kevin Jr., Kaveen, Shanae, Storme and Ivori; 23 Great Grandchildren and Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. 

A public viewing will take place on Friday, June 25, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home. Masks are required.
