Cecile Davis

Ms. Cecile Marie Davis of Tampa, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. at The Place Ministries, 5111 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, Florida 33610 with Reverend Charles Davidson, officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.  Please follow the CDC Guidelines.  Masks are required. 

Ms. Cecile Marie Davis was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida born to Cecil Davis and Rose Marie Spires Davis.  She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Tampa Bay Vo-Technical High School. 

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Johnny Murray, Jr.; cousin, Reginald Brown; and aunt, Cornette Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three loving sons, Deonta Davis (Dominique), Dontae Davis, and DeVonta Davis, Sr. (Delicia); six grandchildren, Tara, Jaiden, Gabriel, DeVonta Jr., Devyn and Gianni; five Godchildren, Brendan, Rochelle, Gino, Kevin and Marvin; siblings, Selena Shannon (Darrell), Patricia Howell (Joseph), James Mond, Bridgette Riley (Tyrone), and Katura Grayson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Friday, December 4, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.
