Mr. Christopher Arnold, A.K.A.” Corootai” of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Ave., Tampa, Florida 33606. MASKS RECOMMENDED.
Christopher was born on January 29, 1987. He attended D.W. Waters Career Center and worked as a Freelance Artist. Christopher had a love for gaming, especially Just Dance and Dragon Ball Z. He also had a passion for music and enjoyed karaoke with his sister, Latreece. Christopher loved spending time and going thrift store shopping with his Auntie Brenda, who was more like a second mother to him. Christopher’s favorite song was Can You Stand The Rain by New Edition. He loved life and traveling. You would never have known that he was sick. Those lucky enough to have had Chris as a friend would tell you how kind hearted and giving he was. To sum things up about Chris, here is a quote from his favorite song, “Sunny days, everybody loves them, tell me, can you stand the rain? Storms will come, this we know for sure, but tell me, can you stand the rain?”
He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Christine Johnson; second mother, Brenda Perry; father, Jeffery Arnold, Sr.; sisters, Latreece Perry Jones, Ernesia Woodard, Maria Lewis, Seleta Arnold and Essence Christian; brother, Jeffery Arnold, Jr.; nieces, Kayvona Lewis, Clairisha Montgomery, Shania Woodard, Niesha Manuel, Jalena Thomas, Nevaeh Love, Leah Love, and Queen Love; nephews, Shamar Bates, Jericho Bates, and Lauritz Manuel; great nieces, Auset Moore, Suriya’ Kamal Thompson and Kamilah Thompson; great nephew, Asaim Askew; extended aunts, Kim Walker, Sheryl Nolen and Veronica McCrea; and a host of relatives and friends.
