Christopher Thomas

Retired MSgt. Christopher G. Thomas of Apollo Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.   Mr. Thomas was a resident of Tampa for more than 20 years.  He attended Amos P. Godby High School (Tallahassee), Florida A&M University, Troy University, and St. Leo University.  Mr. Thomas proudly served in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves for 15 plus years.  He also served as a first responder with the Ft. Walton Fire Department for four years, and with the Tallahassee Fire Department for five years.

Mr. Thomas was employed by U.S. Special Operations Command as a contractor.  He was an avid musician; he loved playing the drums and making music.  Chris also loved his family and friends with all of his heart.
 
Chris leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Locksley and Dollie Thomas (Tallahassee); sister, Monique Thomas (Tallahassee); daughter, Brianna Thomas (Tampa); god brother, M. Xavier Payne [Lisa] of  Kissimmee; two god sisters, Tyesin M. Payne (Tallahassee) and Tanya L. McIntyre (Hudson); aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of family, friends, and fellow musicians who love him.
