Obituary
Ms. Constance Braxton of Tampa, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, Rev. Prentiss Davis officiating.
Constance was a native of Brooklyn, NY and a resident of Tampa for 12 years. She attended Eastern District High School, New York City Technical College and York College. She was a member of 1190 CWA Union and Alumni of NYC Tech and Empire State College. She was employed as an Eligibility Specialist at the Human Resource Administration of NYC.
She was a published author, fine artist, poignant writer, strong authoritative figure and a loving matriarch. She kept us safe, happy and motivated us to do better for ourselves.
She is survived by her children, Debra, Constance, Robin, Melody, George and Dionne; 20 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home. MASK RECOMMENDED.
