Cynthia Byrd Obituary

Ms. Cynthia Byrd of Tampa passed Saturday, February 4, 2021.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, Florida.

Ms. Cynthia Byrd was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida.  She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and furthered her education in Nursing.  

She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Rickey Andre Byrd, Volanda Rucker-Hill (Jevon Hill) and Romae Lee Rucker, Jr.; grandchildren, Rickey Andre Byrd, Jr., Samuel Byrd (Debo), Destiny Byrd, Malik Byrd, Rickia Byrd, Sabryelle Rucker, Sabreyonna Rucker, ZaRyiah Gallon-Rucker, Romaece Rucker, Chevelle Rucker and Reverance Rucker; sisters, Minnie Williams and Pearlie Byrd; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Rhodes (Michael), Terrance Williams (Monica) and Donna Byrd (Steve); aunts, Jessie Lee Daniels and Johnnie Mae Flouner; best friend, Cindy Brown; a host of great nieces and nephews, other sorrowing relatives and friends.

We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required. Arrangements entrusted to RAY WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, Rhodes & Northern, Owners.
