Daryl Brookins, Jr.

Mr. Daryl Eugene Brookins Jr. of Tampa, Florida passed away on Sunday, July 18 at the age of 26.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside M.B. Church, 5706 N. 40th St, Tampa, FL  33610, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, Pastor, with Minister Adrian Gay, Officiating.

Daryl was born on August 9, 1994 in Tampa, FL to Charmaine Clemons and Daryl Brookins Sr. Daryl was a loving and devoted son, nephew, cousin and friend to so many of us. He will be greatly missed.

Daryl was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Brookins; aunt, Yolonda Burton; and grandmother, Rose M. Clemons.  

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his father, Daryl Brookins, Sr. (Denena); mother, Charmaine Clemons (Ceasar Bolton, Sr.); Tranyce Scanes (mother of his child); daughter, Angelia Scanes; sisters, Julicia Henderson (Devin), Saniya Bolton, Darielle Brookins, Aniyah Brookins and Aurelia Daniels; brothers, Keion Brookins, DaMontae Brookins, Rashad Sims, Todd Sims, and Scottie Guess; nieces, Ke’onza Brookins and Saraiyah Burnett; grandmothers, Doretha Bull and Nedra L.; grandfather, Charles L.; aunts, Charmeta Clemons, Shilonda Stockes, Michelle Pope (Wendell) and Carol Jenkins (Michael); uncle, William Bryant (Kandy); and a host of cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
