David Smith

Mr. David Antonio Smith of Tampa passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.  Please follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.

Mr. David Antonio Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida.  He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was employed as a Forklift Driver at Fanatics.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Dean Smith; grandparents, Henry Godwin and Sarah Godwin.

He leaves to cherish his memory: loving and devoted wife, Tamika Smith; two devoted children, Donnivin Smith and Destiny Smith; five stepchildren, Darryll Cooley Jr., Jac’Quel Cooley, Quentin Deboue, Xavier Deboue, and Kahmar DeBoue; brother, Alvin Livingston; father, David Holmes (Rebecca); devoted father-in-law, Monte Bowens (Charlene Bowens); sister-in-law, Devona Bowens; brother-in-law, Monte Bowens Jr.; aunts and uncles, Robert Cook, Kent Godwin and Shanethia Godwin; aunt-in-law, Carla Smith; best friend, Aristotle Brookins; and a host of  cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 7 at Ray Williams Funeral Home.  We are asking family and friends to please follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.
