Deacon Eugene "BaBa" Henry Smith

Deacon Eugene “BaBa” H. Smith, of Tampa, transitioned peacefully at the age of 86, on Thursday, August 1, 2024.  His Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Revealing Truth Ministries, 5201 N. Armenia, Tampa, FL 33603 with Pastor Greg Powe Jr., Officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33620.  

Eugene leaves to cherish his memory: a son, Aubrey Jamale Henry; siblings, Elizabeth Coleman, Eola Turner (Roston), Percy Smith, Bettie Edwards, Caleb Smith (Gwen), Joe Nathan Smith, Ellie Bailey (Kurt), Ora Johnson, and Brenda Oshodin; and a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
