Donald Jackson

Mr. Donald D. Jackson of Riverview, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue with Pastor Samuel E. Badger of First Prospect M. B. Church, Wimauma, FL, officiating.  Interment will follow.  Masks are required. 

Mr. Donald D. Jackson was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa Florida born to the late Donald Jackson Jr. and Mattie Jackson.   Donald graduated from King High School, Class of 1982 and furthered his education with Wiley College with a scholarship for Basketball. Donald was an entrepreneur, owning several businesses up until his health began to fail.  He was preceded in death by: his parents, Donald and Mattie Jackson; his brother, Eric Jackson; his uncles, Harvey Streeter, and Jimmie Jackson; and aunt, Ernestine Shakoor.  

He leaves cherished fond memories: a loving and devoted lifelong partner, Sonya Sanford; his two devoted daughters, Monique and Danielle Jackson; his devoted sister, Donetta (Eddie) Camancho; his brother, Kim (Tarshee) Jackson; grandchildren, Kylah Fields, Camron Sanford, Karter Scoggins, Sanai Sanford, and Kai Jackson; great grandchild, Laniyah Warner; aunts, Rasheedah (David) Muhammad, Idean Jones, Annie Mae Scott, Mattie Wilkerson, Katie Williams, Doris Jackson, Lucille Lee, Sherry William Longs and Pearlie (Roger) Young; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The remains will repose from 4 - 7 P. M. Friday, May 21 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.  Masks are required.
