Obituary

Mrs. Doris Best Tolliver of Cleveland, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 20, 2021.  The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 13, at 11:00 a.m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33605 with Bishop Thomas Scott, officiating.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.  

Mrs. Doris Best Tolliver was a native of Tampa, Florida.  She was joined to Elias Tolliver in Holy Matrimony and relocated to Cleveland, Ohio.  Doris leaves to cherish heart-felt memories: children, Rashad Saleem (Valerie), Ellen Tolliver and Wendy Tolliver; grandchildren, Marlin, Lucretia, Carlene, and Mark; great-grandchildren, Essence and Jasmine; sister/best friend, Vernell Clovesko (Joseph); brother, David Best (Deannie); God-sister, Della Schofield; God-daughter, Candice Olamide and Noreen Roderick; special friends, Jessie Moorer, Jessie McGee, and Lois Bryant; special cousin, Sylvia Grier; special nieces, Marsha Minor and Kathleen Ransom, and many nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and friends. 

The remains will repose from 3 – 7 p.m. Friday, March 12 at Ray Williams Funeral Home.  We are asking family and friends to please follow the CDC Guidelines.  Masks are required.
