Dorothy Ziegler Sims

Mrs. Dorothy Zeigler Sims Tampa of Valrico, Florida passed away, Tuesday, November 5, 2019.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Riverhills Church of God, 6310 E. Sligh Avenue, with Reverend Jonathan Earl Zeigler, officiating. 

Mrs. Dorothy Zeigler Sims was a native of  Screven County, Georgia and a resident of the Tampa Bay area for 10 years.  She retired as a Seamstress/Dresser from the Broward Theater.  She was preceded in death by: husband, Oliver Zeigler; son, Llewellyn Zeigler; grandsons, Charles Zeigler Jr. and Dwayne Zeigler; great grandson, Derek Royal, Jr., and life mate, Herbert Sims.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her children, Jimmy (Arthuretta) Zeigler of Lanhan, MD, Johnny (Theta) Zeigler of Savannah, GA, Charles Zeigler of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Yulonda (Rayfield) Lewis of Athens, GA, LaRose Cunigan of Sylvania, GA, Carolyn (Jerome) Gilliam of Oviedo, FL, Linda Gale (Larry) Scott of Ozark, AL, Dennis (Latasha) Zeigler of Indianapolis, IN, Angela (Norman) Henderson of Coral Springs, FL, and Jacqueline (Tony) Rose of Valrico, FL; 40 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, associates and friends. 

There will be no public visitation.
