Mr. Edwin Steven Wilson of Odessa, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m. at True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 3519 E. 9th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605, Reverend James Richardson, Pastor with Apostle Namon Wilson, Jr., officiating.
Mr. Edwin Steven Wilson was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida and he was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Mr. Wilson was a member of True Love M. B. Church and a Landscaper.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Fannie Pearl Watson Wilson; and daughter, Joann Pearl Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Edwin S. Wilson, Jr.; father, Namon Wilson, Jr.; step-mother, Valerie Wilson; sisters, Casandra (Joe) Murphy, Priscilla Watson, Regina Wilson, Cazandra (Jamillah) Nichols, Hope Wingfield, Regina Williams, Angel Ferguson, Denise Chaney, Yolanda Taylor, Rebecca Wilson and Rachel Wilson; brothers, Jimmie Watson, Kenneth Wilson and Emmanuel Wilson; aunts, Jessie Jenkins, Erma Muldrow, Alma Seabrooks, Bettie Jackson, Shirley Voison, Diane Mitchell, Mauretha Brown, Lois Watson, Sharon Wilson, and Crystal Wilson; great aunts, Ethel Dent and Betty Holmes; uncles, Willie James Wilson, Jackie Wilson, Byron Wilson, Myron Wilson, Bobby Mitchell, and Elbert Watson; great uncle, Wilson Robertson; special friends, Melissa Rogers and Patricia, his Odessa, Florida community family; longtime friends, Jim Spiker and Lisa Davis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p.m. Friday, January 17 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
