Elder Shirley Harris Obituary

Elder Shirley Mandy Harris passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at First M.B. Church of Highland Pines, 4711 E. 21st Ave, Tampa, FL 33605, with Bishop Isaac Andrews, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Elder Shirley was born September 28, 1951, born in Floral City, FL. She moved to Tampa at an early age, where she attended school in Hillsborough County. She opened her home to many where she was known as "Mom" to many. She loved the Lord and served in the church in many capacities. In meeting her, you knew and could feel the love of God in her life.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Willis Mandy Sr.; mother, Minnie Lee Mandy; daughter, Cheryl Harris-Smith; grandparents, Andrew and Marie Austin; grandson, Keith Harris, Jr.; great-grandson, Jerome Speights, III; nieces, Teresa Mandy-Walker and Sherry Andrews; lifetime friend, Ronald Harris, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: 3 daughters, Belinda Brown (Anthony), Lisa Holmes (Sam), and Dreama Harris; 5 sons, Ronald Harris, Jr. (Erika), Christopher Harris, Sr. (Jackie), Keith Harris, Sr., Carvia Harris, and Kevin Hill (Jessica); grandchildren, Krishonda Harris (Mylisha), Jerome Speights, Jr. (Shericka), Ronecia Speights (Jamal), Dwayne Singletary, Jr. (Antonette), Marquis Singletary, Quinton Singletary Sr. (Shanyia), Anthony Brown, Jr. (Eva), Donia Wimbley (Jesse), Donta Winbley, Sr., Jamhal Brown, Kylah Smith, Atlanta Smith, Patrice Smith, Krishonda Harris (Mylisha), Lakeithia Harris, Christopher Harris, Jr., Ahmad Harris, Royalty Harris, Treasure McRae, and Jer'Darrion Fields; great grandchildren, Ja'Niece Singletary, Quinton Singletary, Jr., Jayceon Singletary, Ja'Yahni Singletary, Qu'Mari Singletary, Iy'land Singletary, Jaliek Speights, Jaliel Speights, Jerrica Speights, Gary Minnis, III, Dakota Singletary, Dwayne Singletary III, Aja Stretton, Donta Wimbley, Jr., Khalia Wimbley, Jamya Simpson, and Cameron Troupe; sister, Doris Andrews (Isaac); godsister, Patrica Hicks; brothers, Willis Mandy, Jr., Michael Mandy, Sr., Clifford Mandy (Marvis), and Nathaniel Waters; 2 aunts, Eddie Lee Range, and Bertha Cohen; nieces and nephews, Leon Chester (Carina), Sr., Qujuania Bellamy (Mon), Clifford Mandy, Jr. (Rachel), April Mandy, Michael Mandy, Jr., Sharee Mandy, Brittaney Mandy, Joshua Mandy, Tiara Mandy, Pamela Andrews-Callaway (Shawn), David Waters, and Ariel Waters; very close friend, Katreen Robinson; goddaughter, Arnetra McMillan; like a daughter, Angela Hamilton; and host of family and friends.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  MASK RECOMMENDED.
