Mr. Calvin Douglas was born on May 29, 1959, in Browns Town, Jamacia. During 1980’s Calvin migrated to the United States where later he met the love of his life Ms. Daphney Cuyler and the two became one on March 28, 1990.
Upon their union, Calvin joined Glorious Church of God with Deliverance under the leadership of the Late Pastor Viliere where he was the Minister of Music. He was a distinguished composer, musician and singer. One of his gifts he was self-taught and played a multitude of instruments. Calvin and Daphney greatly supported their church while they both were foster parents caring for 100 plus children over the course of 21 years. The attention that he gave to each of them was as if they were his own children. He was also a dedicated and dependable father, grandfather, son, brother and husband. Who took pride and hard work, determination and punctuality. There was never a challenge too big or too small for Mr. Douglas to manage. Calvin was employed with Craft/Miner for over 32 years where he was a welder and mechanical engineer.
Dad celebrated the later part of his life surrounded by family members sharing LOVE and AFFECTION. There was excitement in him seeing our lovely faces.
