Flarria Cross

Mrs. Flarria Mae Tim Cross passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL. 33606, with Reverend Prentiss Davis, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Mrs. Cross was born April 22, 1925, a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 97 years. She was the youngest child born to the late Albert and Leona Watkins Tim. She attended Middleton High School and graduated in 1943. After graduation, she worked as a Dietician for The Hillsborough County Schools and was a Housekeeper for Mr. and Mrs David Hyman until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Leo Cross; and oldest son, Theodore Cross.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her youngest son, Leo A. Cross; grandchildren, Sonyetta Pyles (Vern), Theodore Muhammad (Yvonne), Brian Cross, Joris Cross, Tiffany Cross, and Marlon Griffie (Megan Chrysler); 17 great grands; 5 great great grands; sister-in-law, Jean Tim; and nieces, nephews, caretakers, friends, and neighbors.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  MASK RECOMMENDED.
