Gail Hodges

Ms. Gail R. Myers-Hodges of Tampa, FL passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 31, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 N. 30th Street, Tampa, FL 33610 with Supt. Charles Davis, Pastor, and Rev. Richard Washington, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ms. Myers-Hodges was a native of Tampa, FL and was a resident for 43 years. She attended Plant High School and Florida A&M University, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of College Hill. She was employed as an Educator in the Hillsborough County School System.

The heavenly gates opened on Monday, July 19, 2021 to welcome our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend, affectionately known to be the sweetest, kindest woman in the world.

Ms. Myers-Hodges requested that we all treat each other how we want to be treated and trust in the Lord.

She was reunited in death with her daughter, Ashley Buskey Hodges, brother, Randy Myers, and mother, Ella Myers.

Left to cherish a legacy of precious memories are her father, Randolph Myers (Gwen); brother, Eric Myers (Yolanda M.); son, Garlon Hodges (Dedy H.); four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Remains will repose from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
