Gerrard Williams

Mr. Gerrard Tyrell Williams of Tampa passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 19 at 2 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Apostle Darnell Wilson, Sr. of Ever Increasing Kingdom of God Ministries, Intl., officiating.  Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Gerrard Tyrell Williams was a native of Lexington, South Carolina and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida.  He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School.  Mr. Williams a member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a dedicated father who loved spending time with his family.  Gerrard also loved Sports Center, basketball, and 80’s style music.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, paternal grandfather, Andrew Williams; and maternal grandmother, Sandra Martin.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents: Charles Gerrard Williams and Sonya Kee; his loving children, Lavon Williams and Gershawn Williams; siblings, Marcus Kee, Charles Kee, Aaron Kee and Tiana Kee; grandmother, Betty Odne’; great grandmother, Willie Mae Thomas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.

The remains will repose from 3-7 p.m., Friday, September 18, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
