Mr. Harold Cavour Squires, of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, at 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, with Prophetess Stella Williams and Elder Glenn Taitt, officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Harold Cavour Squires was the only son of the late Harold Frank Squires and Monica Marlinda Squires. Harold was born in Queens, New York on July 16, 1968, and received his early elementary education in the borough of Queens at Montessori School, Croydon Day School, and Kew Forest School. Harold graduated from New York’s Flushing High School with the class of 1986. Shortly following his graduation, he and his family moved to Tampa, Florida where he continued higher education at the local college majoring in electrical engineering. Harold worked independently and with his peers in the field of electrical engineering and auto mechanics.
Harold is the father of four boys and two girls.
Harold’s father, Harold F. Squires, preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his everlasting memories with a very special partner, Tisha Wilson; his mother, Monica M. Squires (Beale); children, Jasmine Williams, Cavour Squires, Nigel Squires, Malik Squires, Zariya Squires, and Xavier Squires; two grandchildren, Jamarion Williams and I'yana Williams; uncles, Marcellous (Shirley) Squires, Harcourt (Maggie) Taitt, Clarence (Pamela) Jefferson; aunts, Pat Dottin, Eileen Donovan, Joyce Squires, Juanita Squires, Yvonne Welcome, Celeste Forde; cousins, Sonia Ford, Nakia Jefferson, Anthony Jefferson, Denise Squires, Sharon Squires, Carol Squires, Brittany Squires, Trudy Squires, Anna Squires, Nia Squires, Trevor Squires, Carlton Squires, Andrew Squires, Brien Squires, Roderic Taitt Sr., Glendon Taitt Sr., Glendon Taitt Jr., Antoinne Taitt, and Brian Dottin; along with a host of other special relatives and friends.
The remains will repose from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
