Helmar Hodges

Mr. Helmar B. Hodges of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away Monday, November 2, 2020.  Graveside service was conducted Tuesday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, with Prophet Farnorris Morgan of Word of God Ministry, Inc., Tampa, FL officiating.  Interment will follow. 

Mr. Helmar B. Hodges was native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida.  He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton High School.  He furthered his education with Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University and was also a proud member of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Julius Ceaser Hodges and Gwendolyn Fiddmont.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Melonie Graves (Phillip), Spencer Hodges, and Victor Hodges (Maria); his grandchildren, Taylor Graves, Preston Graves, Delaney Graves, Sloane Hodges and Quinn Hodges; his brother, Julius Hodges; his sister, Barbara Bethel; his dear friends, Bobby and Tina Cotton, Leon & Eunice Fitts; a host of friends, co-workers, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
