Irene Grace

Ms. Irene Grace of Tampa, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Heaven Destiny Assembly of God, 4104 E. Ellicott St., Tampa with Reverend Tom Jones, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

Ms. Irene Grace was born on March 14, 1945.  She was her parents fourth born child.  After Irene became ill, she remained strong and steadfast.  She fought a great battle.  She gained her wings on July 5, 2021, when she was called home to be with our Heavenly Father.

Irene was a very loving and caring person.  She ministered in every role including a mother to the motherless, a sister, an aunt, and a friend to the friendless. She welcomed everyone with open arms.

Irene loved her crossword puzzles.  She enjoyed walking to get her lottery tickets, watching Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy, and she loved cooking Sunday dinner.  But most of all, Irene loved the Lord.

Ms. Irene Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Hosie Grace and Lucille Lewis; and siblings, Letha Jacobs, Hosie Grace, Jr., Johnnie Mae Grace, and M.C. Grace.

Irene was a very loving and caring person.  Irene leaves loving memories with her sisters, Lucy Jackson of Tampa, FL, and Ernestine Clark (Victor) of Chattahoochee, FL; and Uncle Willie. In addition, she leaves loving memories with all those that she raised and helped to raise as her own: Freddie Jacobs (Stacie), Mary Taylor, Robert Tripp, Bonita Copeland, Latonia Copeland, Benjamin Copeland, Alfie Grace and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The remains will repose from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
