James Gipson

Mr. James Marco Gipson passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 4025 W. Palmetto St., Tampa, Florida with Reverend Anthony W. Greene, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.  Masks are required.

Mr. James Marco Gipson was a native of Florida and a resident of Tampa for 53 years. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1986 and continued his education at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU).  James Marco Gipson was a member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens where during his earlier years he served as a member of the Youth Choir and the young Adult Choir.

He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Jana M. Gipson and Jayla M. Gipson; mother of his children,  Sheretta M. Adams-Gipson; sisters, Amy L. Gipson and Cindy M. Gipson; brother, Jared M. Gipson; nephew, Dallas A. Parker; niece, Angelia Gipson; two great aunts, six aunts, seven uncles, and many cousins and friends.

The remains will repose from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, May 28 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.  Masks are required.
