Mr. James Howard of Tampa passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 22 at 2:00 p.m. at The Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. James Howard was a native of Bronx, New York and a resident of Tampa for 60 years. He was employed as a Stock Clerk with Publix Supermarket. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Joyce Howard. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Ziekisha Howard, Edward Howard, QuanKeisha Howard (Jeffrey), DeAndre Howard, JayQuan Grice, Denisha Howard (Tyrell) and JaQuavis Howard (Jamia); 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild; father, Naheem Muhammad; 8 siblings, Frankie Hudson, Tacuma Rodgers, Emel Howard, Belewa Muhammad, Joshua Muhammad, Denise Howard, Faitha Howard and Sabreen Gilbert; a host of nieces and nephews; special niece, Zakiyya Howard; special friends, Lisa Grice, Shirley George, “Big Mike Denson”, Ced, Jimmy Woods, and “Tall Head”; special friends and co-workers of Publix Supermarket; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose from 3-7pm, Friday, August 21, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
