Mrs. Jewel Burnett, 73, Tampa, FL, passed August 28, 2021. She was born in Sale City, GA to the late Christine Crawford Warren ad Jesse Walter Barber.
She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Blake High School. Jewel worked in the healthcare industry for many years.
Mrs. Burnett was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church of Port Tampa; she loved to worship with her church family. Her loving spirit showed through her delicious foods, and spending time with her family. She always welcomed new friends into her life.
She is preceded in death and now joins the many loving relatives she so dearly missed: her mother: Christine Crawford Warren; father: Jesse Walter Barber; stepfather: Jimmie Warren, Sr., sister: Nadine Harris and her daughter: Valerie Crawford.
Her memory and legacy will forever be cherished by her daughters: Cheryl Guzman and Temika Burnett; brothers: Jimmie Warren, Jr., Joseph Crawford, and Ulysses Warren; sisters: Tara Thomas and Theresa Crawford; grandchildren: Brittany and Jenelle Guzman, Shania Smith and Jayda Longstreet; great grandchildren: Cameron and Braylon Morris and Skye Thompson as well as countless nieces and nephews and extended family members.
The family will host a private celebration of life and love for Mrs. Burnett. They solicit and thank you for your prayers and support at this time.
