Joanne Whetstone

Mrs. Joanne B. Whetstone, of Tampa passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020.  Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.  Interment will be held Saturday, August 8 at 9 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.  We are asking family and friends to please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.

Mrs. Joanne B. Whetstone was a native of Dade City, Florida born to Lula and Willie Baldwin.  She received her education in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a faithful and loyal member of Full Gospel C.O.G.I.C., Elder Tommy Jones, Pastor.  Mrs. Joanne B. Whetstone was a devoted and caring wife to her husband, Terry Whetstone, for 27 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Terry Whetstone; four sisters, Darlene Rooks (Soloman), Francis Baldwin, Cynthia Hudgins (Richard), and Diedrea Willis (Ashley); two brothers, Willie S. Baldwin Jr. (Shandra) and James Baldwin (Cheryl); mother-in-law, Willie Bea Whetstone; father-in-law, William R. Whetstone; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who she loved dearly.
