Juanita Harvey-Dixon of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park with Pastor Barbara Holloway, Officiating.
Juanita Harvey-Dixon was born March 14, 1943 in Thomasville, Georgia to Henry Harvey, Sr. and Florrie Benton Harvey.
She moved to Florida at an early age. She was married to Johnny Paul Dixon of Tampa, Florida and later divorced.
She worked as a Nursing Assistant for several years and received her certificate for Geriatric Aide in 1983.
She also worked as a Monitor at Acorn Trace Apartments in Tampa, Florida until her health failed.
She was a member of Triumph Church, with Pastor Craig and Pastor Barbara Holloway.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Juanita leaves to cherish her memories: sister, Rose Washington of Tampa, Florida; brother, Herbert McCall (Barbara) of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Mildred and Luella Harvey of Jacksonville, Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.
The remains will repose from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, FL 33606. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
