Junice "JC" Wright II

Mr. Junice C. Wright, II of Valrico, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.  Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bell Shoals Church (Brandon Campus), 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon, FL 33511 with Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pastor, Officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  Interment will be in the Wright Family Cemetery in Alamo, Georgia.

Mr. Wright was a native of Glenwood, GA and a resident of Tampa for 56 years.  He attended Savannah State University and was a member of First Baptist Church of Progress Village.  He was employed by the Hillsborough County Public Schools as a Math Educator at Greco Middle School.

He leaves to cherish his memory:  daughters, Khrystil Gatewood (Michael) of Mount Pleasant, MI and Ingrid Byer (David) of Groveland, FL; son, Junice C. Wright, III of St Petersburg, FL; brothers, Charles Wright (Barbara) of Tallahassee, FL, Cordie Wright (Frankye) of Savannah, Georgia, Frank Wright (Cynthia) of Aiken, SC, and Garry Wright (Gloria) of Notasulga, AL; sisters, Barbara Humphrey of Ft. Valley, GA, Patricia Wormley (James) of Newark, DE, and Terri Wright of LaGrange, GA; grandchildren, Miles Wright of Groveland, FL, Indaya Byer of Groveland, FL, and Deangelo Byer of Groveland, FL; extended family, Deangelo Byer and Raheem Burrows; and a host of other sorrowing nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 7, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
