Mr. Justin M. Raiford of Tampa, Florida passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 Lowe Street, with Reverend Dr. Glenn Dames, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. Justin M. Raiford was native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida born on to Mr. Jimmie and Rose Raiford. He was educated by the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Plant High School. He was recently employed by the International Longshoremen’s Association in Tampa, FL.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Philip and Nell Pugh and Eddie and Edith Raiford; uncle; O’Neal Edgar and Ronald Raiford; and nephew, Freddie Benson.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving parents, Mr. Jimmie and Rose Raiford; four brothers, Jimmie Raiford, Jr, Jordan Raiford, Anthony Cleveland (Loraine) and Walter Clark; sisters, Jenny Raiford and Wendy Pressley (Byron); three loving sons, Ja’Qwon and Ja’Quay Raiford (mother, Darnisha), and Justin Raiford, Jr. (mother, Jonetha); aunts, Gaynella Hancock (Alvin), Chris Eskridge (John), Kathy Penny (fiancé Eladio), Edith Raiford and Cynthia Oaks; uncles, Eddie Lee Edgar, Alexander Pugh, Eddie Raiford and Reginald Raiford (Joan); nephews, Jimmie Raiford III, Jimmel Raiford, and Jayden Raiford; nieces, Asia Turner Raiford; cousins, Yvetta Edgar (Christopher), Ayona Edgar, Demonteria Edgar, Samantha Gunter (Robert), Lenora Roberson (Darren), Shanella Hancock, Serena Mills (Lewis), Denise Parker (Gene), Alfonso Evans, Kay’n Goodman, John Eskridge, Jr, Jermaine Eskridge, Candie Eskridge, Alexia Pugh, Alexander Pugh, Jr, Alexis Pugh, Twili Moore, Sherece Owens, Keiayna Edgar, and Quentin Pandales; special friends, Shonte Jackson and Taniqua Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and devoted friends.
The Visitation will be held Friday, November 13, from 3 – 7 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
