Lawrence Sheard Jr.

Mr. Lawrence D. Sheard Jr. of Tampa, Florida passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 North Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602 with Elder F.L. Wynn Jr., Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Lawrence was born July 1, 1993, in Tampa, FL. He was a man who loved and cherished his family. He was a loving and caring son, a very protective brother, but most of all, he was an amazing father that had a passion for sports.

He was preceded in death by: his Grandparents, Betty Johnson, Fannie Thomas, L.C. McCoy, and Charles Brown; Godmother, Tracy Curry; and many other precious family and friends.

He leaves to treasure his memories: his Mother, Carolyn McCoy (Derek); Father, Lawrence Sheard Sr.; Children, Lawrence Sheard III, Lorenzo Sheard, Lamelo Sheard, Larsen Sheard, Zykeria Palmer, Keyonni Garden, and Kelisa Garden; Love of his life, Keyona Cunningham; Siblings, Joseph King III, Reqishia Johnson, LaWakithia Sheard, Shanaanae Hepburn, Kiers Harnmona, Travontae Davis, Antyona Sheard, O’Sha Sheard, Zoria Sheard, Eldred Hardy, and Elderick Hardy Jr.; God Siblings, Tana, Darrlyn, Alex, Anna, Ronel, TyKeria, and Chrishawn; Nephews and Nieces, Maltius Morrissey, Antonio Henry, Ronard McCallister, Joenelle King, Khalyb Grant, Dakota Johnson, Demanic Grant,  Millon Whitaker, and Riley Cullnor; very devoted friend, Elderick Hardy Sr; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and very devoted friends.

The visitation will be held on Thursday January 19, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, Fl 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.
