Lenton Chambers

Mr. Lenton L. Chambers of Tampa, Florida passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. His funeral service will be held, Saturday, September 25th at 2:00pm at Ray Williams Funeral Home Chapel, 301 N. Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33606. Interment to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Chambers was a native of Adel, Georgia, and a resident of Tampa for 60 plus years. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County.  Mr. Chambers was a member of Church of Christ. He was a specialized auto technician.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Herman Chambers, Sr., and Lorene Chambers.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Henrietta (Cynthia) Chambers; his children: Lenton Chambers, Jr., Leonard Chambers, Twanda (Willie) Bivens, Alexis Bivens, LaDonte Bivens, Jerome Hamilton; siblings: Herman Chambers, Jr., Sheriann Chambers, Charles Chambers, Ricky Chambers and James Chambers as well as his goddaughter, Shawn King, and a host of other family and friends, to include aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and loving grandchildren.

Public visitation will be Friday, September 24, 2021, from 4pm until 7pm at Ray Williams Funeral Home.
