Lola Barnhill

Co-Pastor Lola P. Barnhill of Lutz, FL passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022.  Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Living God Gateway to Heaven, 3815 Phillips St, Tampa, Fl 33619., Pastor Ruby N. Baker, officiating.  Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4202 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, Fl 33610.

Lola was born in Dublin, GA, and a resident of Tampa for 75 years.  She attended Howard W. Blake High School and was Co-Pastor of Church of the Living God Gateway to Heaven.  She was retired from Chamberlin High School.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearlie Mae Chapman; dad, Clevland Perry; grandmother, Tama Baker; brothers, Rudolph Perry Sr., Larry Kent Chapman, and William Tyrone Chapman Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, brothers, Claxton Perry Sr. (Arletha), and Ulysses Chapman Sr., sisters, Sandra Willis, and Linda Hobdy (Frederick); a devoted aunt, Pastor Ruby N. Baker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  MASK RECOMMENDED.
