Mable Sue Ellison-Esters

Ms. Mable Sue Ellison-Esters of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021.  The Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, 3:00 p.m. at Christlike Ministries, 3011 Orient Road, Tampa, FL 33619, with Pastor Charles Patrick, officiating. MASKS RECOMMENDED. Interment to follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Ms. Ellison-Esters was a native of Marshallville, Georgia, and resident of Tampa for 65 years. She was a member of Peace Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed as a Cook at The Salvation Army. 

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Ellison and Warren Esters; mother, Eddie Lou Fields; father, Bubba Fields; sisters, Will Lou Fields and Mattie Grant; and four children, Charles Ellison, Mary Ellison, Tyrone Ellison and Brenda Ellison.

We will forever miss her amazing smile, honest eyes, and extremely big heart. She was and will forever be in our hearts because of the impact she had over each of us who God blessed through her enlightening presence and spirit. We will never forget and will always love Mable Sue Ellison-Esters.

She leaves to cherish loving and unforgettable memories, her sister, Elizabeth Allen; children, Emma Lou and Glenn Johnson, Tommy and Lakysha Ellison, Frank and Denise Ellison, and Keith and Fawn Ellison; a host of grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews; and two loving God daughters, Tess Young and Sylvia Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. MASKS RECOMMENDED.
