Mrs. Marguerite Lillie Guyton of Tampa, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Bishop Sylvester Robinson, officiating. Interment was in Rest Haven Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m.
Mrs. Marguerite Lillie Guyton was a native of Branford, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 61 years. She attended the Public Schools of Suwannee County. She was employed at Bill Currie Ford in Tampa.
Marguerite loved her children and family endlessly and loved to travel and visit other family members. She would give you her last, even during her sickness she never complained. She was always well respected by everyone and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Marvin B. Lillie; husband, Johnny Guyton, Sr.; brothers, Ivy Jones, James M. Lillie, Fal G. Lillie and Williebee Houston; son, Luther Hill, Jr. and daughter, Vivian D. Guyton.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Hattie-Mae Houston of Trenton, New Jersey; sons, Edward L. Hill of Tampa, Florida, Johnny L. Guyton, Jr. (Kimberly) of Brandon, FL and James W. Guyton, Sr. of Tampa, Florida; daughters, Lorraine William (Earliest) of Tampa, Florida, Sonya G. Davis (Terrance) of Tampa, Florida, Wanda M. Guyton of Wasserburg, Germany and Chalet R. Guyton of Tampa, Florida; sisters, Marian V. Young of LaCrosse, Florida, Mary-Ann Pinkard of Atlantic, Virginia, Dorothy Press of Trenton, New Jersey and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and family and friends whom she loved dearly.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
