Mr. Mark Anthony Jenkins of Wimauma, Florida passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020. A Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Wimauma Community Cemetery, 6012 Edina Street, Wimauma, FL 33598 with Pastor Charlie Sampson, officiating and Deacon Robert Berrien, eulogist. Interment will follow. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. Mark Anthony Jenkins, affectionately known as “Amp” was a native and lifelong resident of Wimauma, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and worked as a Laborer for many years.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Mrs. Leola Jenkins; grandparents, Calvin and Leola Jenkins; brother, Calvin Jenkins, Jr.; uncles, Harry Jenkins, Otis Jenkins, Sr.; and aunt, Kelsie Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Calvin Jenkins, Sr. of Oneca, FL; sister, Darlenia Jenkins of Tampa, FL; two brothers, Byron Jenkins, Sr. of Tampa, FL and Antonio Jenkins of Oneca, FL; one sister-in-law, Denise Jenkins of Wimauma, FL; nieces, LaQuanda Davis, Tikia Bowens, Quanesha Jenkins (United States Navy), Latrenda Jenkins, Carolyn Sampson, Jennifer Braxton (Wesley) and Precious Jenkins; nephews, Byron Christopher Jenkins of Tallahassee, FL, Byron Jenkins of Tampa, FL Calvin Jenkins, Jr., Adrian Jenkins, and Dimitri Smith; a host of great nieces and nephews; special friends, Marjorie Hammond, Jermaine Gay, Willie Cooper and Denise Porter; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m., Friday, September 25, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
