Ms. Martha Lee Bostic of Tampa, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue, Tampa, FL with Reverend Dr. Rayford Harper, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
Ms. Bostic was a native and resident of Tampa, Florida born to the late Adeline Milling and Eddie Allen. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton Senior High School, Class of 1950. Martha lived in Missouri and Ohio before returning to Tampa. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Tampa for 57 years. She held a strong work ethic and retired from Tampa General Hospital and Hillsborough County Aging Services.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Adeline Milling and Eddie Allen; older sisters, Gladys Atwaters and Lillie Mae Exum; and brother-in-law, James Exum.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: devoted children, Bennett (Patricia) Odams, Beverly (Andrew) Odams and Bruce Odams; niece she raised, Cassandra Herds; loving companion, Robert Brown; special granddaughter, Andrea Brown; grandchildren, Calvin (Tijuana) Lewis, Latrice (Cory) Martin, Victoria Odams, Marquis Odams, Marchell Odams and Bryawnna Odams; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grands; 1 brother, John Henry Milling and sister-in-law, Ada of Sacramento, CA; supportive niece, Ambur Herds; best friend, Trudie Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and dear friends.
The remains will repose from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
