Mrs. Mary E. Hamilton of Tampa, Florida passed away Friday April 16, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday April 24th, 2021 at 11a.m. at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church -A LEON LOWRY CENTER – (Limited seating), 1006 W. Cypress Street, Tampa FL 33606, Reverend Calvin Williams officiating and Reverend Dr. W. James Favorite eulogizing. THIS IS A PRIVATE CEREMONY WHICH CAN BE VIEWED ONLINE @BBICTAMPA.COM. Mrs. Mary E. Hamilton was a native of Cordele, Georgia and was a graduate of Don Thompson Vocational High School in Tampa, FL. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church where she faithfully served as a member of the Mothers Board, The Sanctuary Ladies, and the First Choir. She was employed as a Dietician at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Troy Stewart (Father) and Alice Mason (Mother); husband, James B. Hamilton Sr.; son, Edgar B. Hamilton; daughters, Linda Hamilton Davis and Jacquelyn Hamilton King; great granddaughter, NaKysha Hamilton; and cousin, Luevenia Mitchel.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: children, Gwendolyn Abrams, (Joseph), James Hamilton II and Alvin Hamilton Sr. (Wanda); grandchildren, Joseph II-Joey, (Aretha), Kevin (Kim), Barbra, (Sam), Timmy, James III-Lil Jimmy, Lucy (Tony), Calvin, Alvin Jr.-Brucie, Aprile (Earl), Aakeir, Aaneesa, and Kimberly, Kolbe; great grandchildren, Candaice, Joseph III-Joe Joe, Alysa, Justin, Amya, Jevaris-Nudda, Golden, Trakeria, Kavaris, Tamica, Naizyhia, Naguia, Niija, Enya, Zaryhia, Ja’Waun, Emani, Essense, Shakeia, Joseph-Jo Jo, Aakeira, Domonquie, Alexander-Alex, Amber, and Ashley; great-great grandchildren, Da’Jiyah, Nyomi, Onyx, Angelica, Nautrell, Lelani, Tazion, Elijah, Kevaria, Amari, Kayden, Domulest, Caidyn, Niija Jr., and Kolbe Jr.; and a host of close relatives and friends.
The viewing will be held Friday April 23rd, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. We are asking family and friends to please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
